Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 July 2026

By using CheckMyLaunch you agree to these terms. They exist to be fair to both of us — the short version: only scan what's yours, and understand what a scan can and can't promise.

What a scan is — and isn't

CheckMyLaunch is an automated readiness check, not a security audit. It catches common, well-known classes of problems. No automated tool can find every issue, and a high score is not a guarantee that your app is secure, compliant, or free of defects. For applications handling sensitive data at scale, commission a professional security review as well.

Acceptable use

Your code and data

You keep all rights to your code. Repo access is scoped to what you grant our GitHub App, cloned code is deleted after each scan, and our Privacy Policy covers what we retain.

Repair prompts and auto-fixes

Repair prompts and auto-fix pull requests are suggestions. Review every change before merging or deploying — you're responsible for what ships to your users.

Billing and refunds

Subscriptions renew until cancelled (cancel any time from the billing portal; access runs to the end of the paid period). One-off Launch Checks are refundable within 7 days if the scan failed to run against your project — not because you didn't like the findings.

Liability

CheckMyLaunch is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. We're not liable for losses arising from issues a scan didn't detect, or from changes you made based on scan output.

Termination and changes

We can suspend accounts that breach these terms. We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
